This is Dua, a young male sumatran tiger. My second painting of him. He is such a beautiful and majestic fellow.

do u impress the whiskers or do negative drawing?

Hi there. I actually use white acrylic paint for whiskers. I gently scrap away the wax first then carefully paint the whiskers. Because I use such heavy layers of pencil, nothing else seems to work but this. Thanks for asking.

Thanks a lot. I wish I could tell you but I never keep track of how long it takes to do a piece. This is a larger piece so I would guess a couple weeks. Not steady of course.
